Is it sustainable?  King Crab populations in Alaska are currently stable and healthy.  While their abundance naturally expands and contracts, however management is strong.  King Crab fisheries management has recently implemented a program to decrease the number of fishing vessels and processing facilities to improve conservation efforts.
